Next up in our “get-to-know” segment are Kip Long and Verlon Harp. Verlon has served as a Shepherd at Sycamore View since the 90’s. He was also employed by HopeWorks for over 20 years where he taught spirituality. If you want to sit with a man who lives, breathes, and thinks about Jesus, you need to spend some time with Verlon.
Kip has been the worship minister at SV for 11 years. He and I have spent a lot of time together every week thinking about worship flow and how it points people to Jesus. Not many people know this, but I am also Kip’s vocal coach. (Not really. Just making sure you are reading the bio). Kip is a man of God with a passion to usher people into His throne-room.
