Memphis Work Camp
June 7-11, 2010
Deadline Application: May 2 Cost: $60

What is Work Camp?
Memphis Work Camp is a service project held every summer in which teenagers and adults paint houses for people who cannot afford to do it themselves. A crew of about fifteen people from all different churches and cities works together to scrape and paint one house in four days. Since 1989, 556 houses have been painted by Christian teens and adults at Memphis Workcamp. This year, the Church of Christ at White Station will serve as our home base, which is located at 1106 Colonial Road in Memphis.
To participate in Memphis Work Camp, Sycamore View participants must complete a 2010 Summer Events Application and a Memphis Work Camp Application.
