HELPING ADULTS GROW
Whether you’re single adult looking to plug in, a young family making a home in Memphis, or a mature couple planning your next phase in life, we hope you’ll take advantage of the opportunities to grow in your at Sycamore View. As a church family, we believe that God intended for you to connect with others through spiritual community to help you grow.
SHARING LIFE TOGETHER
Though we have never had more methods of communication than we do today, many of us still feel disconnected. We believe it's essential that everyone at Sycamore View is engaged in a genuine connection to God and people. Jesus doesn’t mess around when it comes to the importance of connecting through relationships. He had a clear understanding that God created people for community. As a church family, we value a deep commitment to spiritual formation and nurturing relationships. Without these values, we believe that people will always feel disconnected.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL
We offer several multigenerational classes where everyone can belong whether you’re younger, older, single, married, have children, like cats, or even root for UT sports (we bleed blue around here). There is so much wisdom to be gained by intergenerational community. If this is what you’re looking for, you might want to check out our Homebuilders, Renewal, or Family Matters classes. Many in this group are very involved in Life Groups and service activities.
COLLEGE
We love college students! This discussion-based class is a great fit for college-age and young adults and centers on building relationships. Come find out how to find truth and thrive in a culture that is upside down to God’s ways as we discuss a wide variety of topics.
YOUNG ADULTS
Our Young Adults Ministry strives to connect young adults in authentic relationships so they can grow in their understanding of God and His purpose for their lives. This is an eclectic group with a variety of college-age and young adults attending the Unbroken Bible class. Many in this group are plugged into Life Groups and hang out regularly throughout the week!
YOUNG FAMILIES
Our Young Families group is made up of parents whose goal is to encourage one another to raise godly children. That said, there are also singles and couples in this diverse group. Many attend our Emerging Families class, share life in Life Groups, and hang out on the weekends (when babysitters are available).
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The mission of the Women of the Word (WoW), the SV Women's Ministry, is to connect women with God and with each other. Our goals are spiritual growth, reaching out and connecting with every SV woman, providing opportunities for women to lead, improving physical and mental health, learning new things, and having fun.
