HOSPITALS:  

METHODIST GERMANTOWN HOSPITAL, 7691 Poplar, Germantown, TN 38138 (901-516-6418)

Debbie Mitchell, Room CV 214 ICU, surgery for aortic heart valve replacement this morning went well; will be staying overnight; requests prayers for minimal pain and complete healing.

PRAISE THE LORD:  

Melanie Walicke was baptized into Christ on Sunday, November 23rd. Melanie is the daughter of Alicia Harm.

CONGRATULATIONS ARE EXTENDED TO:  

Seth and Raelyn Tackett in the birth of their baby boy, Koen Tackett, on Thursday, November 20th, in Marietta, Ohio. Koen weighed 9.04 pounds and was 20.5 inches long.

SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED TO:  

Marilyn and Tony Crawford in the death of Marilyn’s brother, Don Medley, yesterday, December 1st. Prayers also for Don’s wife, Vicki Medley, and their children. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Randy, Kathy, and Raith Moss in the death of Randy’s father, Jack Moss, in Mesquite, TX, on Thursday, November 19th, at the age of 100. At the request of Mr. Moss, there will be no funeral service.

The Family of Jaxx Branson High acknowledged Sycamore View with deep appreciation for the kind expressions of sympathy following Jaxx’s death on September 29, 2025.

SHOWER SCHEDULED FOR:  

Wedding Shower is scheduled for Tamera Parson and Mason Roghair on Sunday, December 7th, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm at Sycamore View Church of Christ, 1910 Sycamore View, Memphis, TN.

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Bobby Bluford, recovering from procedure regarding a large hematoma in his leg where he had his previous hip replacement; will follow up with his ortho surgeon on Wednesday; has lost some mobility in his leg, but is rebounding quickly; requests prayers for strength and complete healing.

Adam Irwin, has been diagnosed with cancer of the liver and also has some spots on his lungs; the actual type of liver cancer is still being determined; currently feels fine physically and taking one day at a time; requests prayers for strength, peace, and a complete healing; prayers also for his parents, Dennis and Leslie Irwin, as they provide support and encouragement during this time.

Leslie Whiteside, thankful for all the blessings that God has bestowed on her throughout her life; especially requests prayers at this time for healing following her knee surgery as she is missing being able to physically attend Sycamore View and participate in the worship, singing, communion, fellowship, and lessons from Josh; asking God to get her back to Sycamore View soon.

Carl Bobo, was taken to the ER at Baptist East on Tuesday, November 18th, after collapsing at the breakfast table and being unconscious for about 10 minutes; was treated and released back to the Village Skilled Care Unit later that day; requests prayers for peace, strength, and healing.

Ben McCormick, now at home continuing to recover from surgery for liver cancer and removal of lymph nodes; had some complications so had to go back into surgery to rework bile duct so it would flow properly; requests prayers for rest, a complete recovery, and that he is able to get his stamina back.
