MEMPHIS JEWISH HOME AND REHAB, 36 Bazeberry Road, Cordova, TN 38018 (901-758-0036)
Leslie Whiteside, Room 503, admitted for rehab and physical therapy Wednesday, March 4th, as she continues to recover from a pacemaker procedure on Monday, February 23rd; requests prayers as she begins rehab and continued prayers as she deals with severe sleep apnea and the issues that it involves; visitors are welcome.

BAPTIST EAST HOSPITAL, 6019 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120 (901-226-5000)
Mark Pitts, Room 4111, recovering from surgery performed Tuesday, March 3rd, for inflammation in his wrist area; results of an MRI on Monday indicated a pocket of fluid which the surgeon wanted to drain; previously had surgery for swelling in his thumb due to infection; requests prayers for minimal pain and complete healing.

ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
Lane Benafield, grandson of Veronica Veltman’s aunt, continues to go to St. Jude for chemo treatments; tested positive for Norovirus, which explains his stomach issues this past week; focusing on rest and fluids and requests prayers for continued healing; also requests prayers as he celebrates his 16th birthday this Saturday, March 7th, that he feels better so he can enjoy time with his friends.

Char Harris was baptized into Christ Sunday, March 1st; Char is the wife of Jesse Harris. We rejoice over our new sister in Christ.

Family and Friends of Mike Parks, former member of Sycamore View, who passed away on Saturday, February 28th. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Friday, March 27th, at Trinity Baptist Church, 8899 Trinity Road, Cordova, TN 38018.

Carolyne Bobo and Family in the death of her husband, Carl Bobo, Sunday morning, February 22nd. The Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 7th, at Sycamore View Church of Christ, 1910 Sycamore View Road, Bartlett, TN 38134, and the Funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at the same location.

Rhonda Harris and Family in the death of her husband, Steve Harris, on Friday, February 13th. Steve was a former member of SV. Funeral services were today, March 6th, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Max Ladner, now at home following appendectomy surgery today, March 6th, at LeBonheur; surgery is complete and appendix was not ruptured; requests prayers for complete healing for Max and rest for Johnny, Angela, and Max.

Miyah Clark, daughter of Denita Deaton, court date has been rescheduled for Monday, April 27th, for her to enter a plea resolution; requests prayers for guidance, patience, and peace for both Miyah and Denita.

Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, had an appointment with her cardiologist yesterday, March 5th; her oldest daughter, Lori, has been staying with her and taking care of her; requests prayers for improved health for Martha and for a good outcome as they try to resolve issues regarding Lori’s paycheck.

Veronica Veltman, went to the hand doctor at Campbell Clinic this past Monday, March 2nd, and received injections in her hand which she injured in one of her falls last year; also had a CT scan yesterday to see if it might have been fractured; saw her back doctor who took images of her lower back and neck that she hurt almost a week ago; due to a lot of tightening of the muscles in both areas, she will start PT today, March 6th, for massages and dry needling to help loosen up the knots; requests continued prayers for complete healing.

Kelis Howard, requests prayers as she struggles with feeling alone while dealing with fertility issues.

Glenn Hailey, health continues to improve following heart surgery on Tuesday, February 17th, where he had a Watchman device installed on his heart; was readmitted to hospital weekend before last due to episodes of dizziness and cardiologist determined problem was due to dehydration; was given fluids and is now at home; requests prayers for continued and complete healing.

Keshawn Glover, attendee of SV, requests prayers for discipline in all aspects of his life so he can receive and follow God’s will as he strongly desires to be the person He wants him to be; also asks for prayers of safety and happiness for his family and that they will be the kind of people that God wants them to be.

The Oliver Family, friends of Jackie Thomas, as their mother, LaShonda Oliver, a former coworker at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 13th, leaving two young daughters and her spouse; requests prayers for peace, comfort, and strength.

Emily, online guest, requests prayers for her mother who is going through some struggles right now and also prayers for herself as she needs God to help her with some sort of guidance.

Teresa Morris, currently working on getting a biopsy scheduled as doctors have discovered a large mass on her right kidney; no longer wearing heart monitor, but continues to deal with high blood pressure; requests prayers for good results and improved health.
