SHOWER SCHEDULED FOR:
PRAYERS REQUESTED:
Bobby Nations, now at home recovering from surgery procedure on Tuesday, July 14th, to replace the stent for his brain aneurysm; although they were unable to get the steerable catheter because of production issues, the doctor decided to proceed with normal equipment; the procedure was successful and Bobby is doing well; thankful for the prayers and this incredible gift from God, and request continued prayers that the stent stays in place and there are no complications. ennifer texted at 1:00 am that Dr. Goyal just called and said that everything with the aneurysm and the stent looks good. The small stroke was probably caused by part of the aneurysm shutting down and clotting a small vessel in the back part of his brain (near the aneurysm). They are going to keep him overnight and evaluate on releasing tomorrow. Dr. Goyal doesn't expect the vision issue will go away quickly, but it is not big enough for a "clot buster".
Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, had an appointment yesterday, July 16th, at West Clinic to begin her Jak 2 cell treatments every two weeks to lower her red and white blood cells and platelets with a new Jak 2 inhibitor that will hopefully not make her so fatigued; also planning an appointment with her eye doctor and working on getting hearing aids; thankful that she now lives with Veronica so she can be helped with her daily care; requests prayers for her quality of life to improve.
Mallory Gatlin, is scheduled for a double mastectomy with reconstruction on August 3rd on an outpatient basis at Baptist Women’s Hospital; at this time, no chemo or radiation is expected as the breast cancer is noninvasive; requests prayers for a smooth surgery and a quick recovery.
Tim Phillips, recovering from a liver biopsy on Monday, July 13th, due to possible cirrhosis; will receive the results in 7-10 days; may also soon undergo a dry eye treatment on his left eye; recently had a second cataract surgery on his right eye and an upper GI (EUS) procedure; requests prayers for good outcomes in all his procedures.
Raymond Pulliam, son of Carol Jones, requests prayers as he lost everything except what he had with him in a fire on June 30th at the place where he lives in Woodbridge, VA; he was not home at the time, but his neighbor upstairs where the fire started was hospitalized, but should be okay; Raymond and his 11-year-old son are now with Carol; requests prayers as they make decisions on next steps while also trusting and knowing that God has the situation under control.
Ed Smith, son-in-law of Carolyne Bobo, recovering from knee replacement surgery on Friday, July 10th, at a hospital in Seattle, Washington, and has now started physical therapy; requests prayers for minimal pain and complete healing.
Leslie Whiteside, requests prayers for her son and two friends’ sons to repent and begin worshiping and working for the Lord; for confidence, courage, stamina, strength, and blessings to help her walk as well as she was last year; and for our country and world to return to the God-fearing status of love, joy, and peace which they once were.

Carolee Hamilton, mother of Donna Davenport, recovering from injuries suffered from a fall including a fractured neck bone; is now doing rehab at Baptist Hospital in Conway, AR and seems to be improving a little each day; requests prayers for minimal pain and quick and complete healing.
