HOSPITALS:

REGIONAL ONE HEALTH, 877 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103 (901-545-7100)
Catherine Laffoon, TICU Room 9, friend of Sherri Rogers, suffered a traumatic head injury due to a fall and was airlifted from Paragould, AR to Memphis; underwent surgery on Wednesday, August 5th, and is currently on a ventilator; requests prayers for healing and a complete recovery.

Rick Kendall, Room 5229, neighbor of Doug and Donna Davenport, is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant on Thursday, August 14th, followed by several weeks of hospital observation; preconditioning began yesterday, August 9th, and will then have chemo for three days followed by a day of rest before the actual transplant; requests prayers for a successful transplant and complete healing.

PRAISE THE LORD:

We rejoice over the baptism of Kip Davenport on Sunday, July 26th, at Sycamore View Church. Kip is the son of Shannon Davenport.

Doris Foree and Family in the death of her husband, Paul Foree, on Monday, July 13th. The Funeral Service was Wednesday, July 15th, in Marvell, AR. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 29th, at Sycamore View Church of Christ, 1910 Sycamore View, Memphis, TN 38134, with a reception to follow at the same location.

Mallory Gatlin, is now at home resting following a double mastectomy with reconstruction on Tuesday, August 3rd; doctors said that everything went great and healing process will be about 6 weeks; requests prayers for a quick recovery.

Van Jones, father of Jamie Sowell, now at home following hospital stay for pneumonia; still has a bit of a way to go before he is healthier and requests prayers for a complete recovery.

Joy Morton, mother of Elaine Morton, now at home from hospital and continuing to recover from sepsis; strength is coming back little by little; requests prayers for complete healing.

Jeff Cozzens, had a great check up on Tuesday, August 3rd, as he continues to recover from back surgery; is walking well and the pain is better, but still requests no visitors at this time; appreciates continued prayers that pain will completely subside and for a full recovery.

Leslie Whiteside, thankful for blessings she and her family have received over the years; requests prayers that her son and two other guys will repent and begin worshiping and serving God; prayers for herself to be able to walk with balance, confidence, courage, determination, stability, and strength both inside unassisted and outside with a cane or lighter rollater; and prayers for our city and country to return to a God-fearing, law-abiding, love-your-neighbor and respectful place as it was in the past.

Glenn Morris, now at home continuing to recover from back surgery on Tuesday, July 28th; the surgery was successful and the recovery period will be about 6-8 weeks with a full recovery expected to be approximately 6 months; requests prayers for complete healing.
