Jesse and Gabbie Adkins in the birth of their daughter, Eleanor (Nell) Ezell Adkins, on Thursday, December 19th, at Lebonheur Hospital in Germantown. Nell weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz.

Leslie Whiteside, prayers of thankfulness for the love of God and Jesus and for the many prayers that have been answered; requests continued prayers for her son and another young man to return to God and to help her set a good example of what a Christian person should personify; also prayers of thankfulness for her improved balance and that her balance will continue to improve.
Michael “Steve” Harris, former member of SV, now at home after a month’s stay at Baptist East Hospital following surgery for throat and vocal issues where surgeons were able to remove all of the cancer; condition has improved so he does not require a catheter or feeding tube, but does have a lymphatic drain tube from his neck; requests continued prayers for minimal pain and total recovery and prayers also for his wife, Rhonda, who has been and will continue to be his at-home caregiver.
Jamie Whartenby, met with the medical oncologist this week and is now scheduled to begin chemo on December 26th which will consist of 6 cycles, one every three weeks; surgery will then be scheduled after completion of chemo treatments; requests continued prayers for strength, peace, complete healing, and recovery.
Jennifer Hale, now at home following release from health rehab hospital and continuing to recover from a stroke following her foot surgery; cannot bear any weight until December 31st; continues to be on dialysis; prayers are requested for healing, comfort, peace, and complete recovery.
Jessica Laitinen, has found a local doctor who is able to do her aftercare and pain medication following her surgery for back issues that is tentatively scheduled for sometime in January; has an appointment with a pain clinic on January 3rd regarding pain management issues; requests continued prayers for patience, minimal pain, and for a successful surgery.
Bryce Jones, cousin of Kim Chapman, the bone marrow cancer surgery on December 12th at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, was successful; requests continued prayers for the cells to graft and for minimal pain and complete healing.
Donovan Ardrey, son of Justin and Charli Ardrey, requests prayers as he continues to recover from a fall several weeks ago that resulted in a broken femur in his left leg; doctors decided against surgery and instead opted for casting from the waist down in a spica cast; is now at home and will be in a cast for six weeks; Charli will take off work and be at home to care for him; prayers requested for Donovan for minimal pain and complete healing and also prayers for the entire family as they care for him during the challenging days ahead.
Serenity Grace Harris, newborn daughter of Lachelle Harris, prayers of thanksgiving as she has been discharged from Regional One Hospital and is doing much better following various health issues at birth.
Zariah, 2-year-old great niece of Reggie and Niya Lee, now at home following lengthy hospital stay for severe burns; doing much better and requests continued prayers for healing and a complete recovery.
