Joe Blalock, Sr., Room 125, father of Joe Blalock, has been moved from Regional One Medical Center to Baptist Rehab and is continuing to recover from surgery due to a fall off a ladder at his home; requests continued prayers for minimal pain and complete healing.

Paula Guyton and Family, former Director of SV Boys and Girls Club, in the death of her father, Henry Young, Jr., on Tuesday, February 11th. The visitation will be 11:00 am - 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 22nd, at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 South Parkway W, Memphis, TN, and the funeral service will immediately follow at the same location.

Jim and Barbara Wingett and Family in the death of Jim’s father, Bill Wingett, Sunday night, February 2nd. The funeral service was Monday, February 10th, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. Memorials may be sent to Agape Child & Family Services in Memphis, TN, or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Donna and Robert Kenyon and Family, in the death of Donna’s father, Don Needham, on Wednesday night, February 5th. The funeral service was Saturday, February 8th, at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel, 223 E. Main St., Bradford, TN 38316.

Family and Friends of JoAnne Keith as she passed away Sunday night, January 26th. The funeral service was Thursday, January 30th, at Dignity Memorial, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Jennifer Hale, requests continued prayers for strength and healing as she is currently recovering from ankle surgery; had seizures and more strokes after surgery and continues to have issues after her strokes, but feels she is recovering; also continues to have immune dialysis every night which is going well; plans to get on the kidney transplant list soon.

Michael “Steve” Harris, former member of SV, prayers of thanksgiving as the surgery to place a Tracheal Esophageal Prosthesis (TEP) device in his brand new, man-made throat went well; the implant is in place and will remain there for about four months; he will then have a "hands free " unit installed; currently is not able to speak, but hopefully will be able to do so soon; requests continued prayers for healing and that this new device will soon enable his speech to be restored.

Miyah Clark, daughter of Denita Deaton, court date has been rescheduled again; it is now set for Monday, April 28th; requests continued prayers for patience, guidance, and peace for both Miyah and Denita and continued prayers for Denita that she will be a light of encouragement for her daughter during this very difficult time.

Leslie Whiteside, thankful for God’s love for mankind and for first loving us and for Jesus, our redeemer and savior; requests continued prayers for her son, plus a friend’s son, for their pathway to heaven; also thankful for giving her confidence, courage, and a yearning to boldly approach the Lord’s throne of grace and wisdom asking for forgiveness and balance when walking unassisted.

Jamie Sowell, requests continued prayers for strength, peace, complete healing, and recovery following her third chemo treatment; will continue to have a treatment every three weeks for three more cycles; surgery will then be scheduled after completion of chemo treatments.

Bryce Jones, cousin of Kim Chapman, has been readmitted to Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX; trying to remove fluids, adjusting heart meds, and treating cellulitis; good news is he is 100% donor so now they just need the cells to grow, get some strength, and find the correct treatment for heart and cellulitis; requests continued prayers for complete healing.

Larry Harris, is now at home following hospital stay where he received stitches in knee due to a fall and where it was also discovered he had Covid and his blood pressure had dropped; will be on antibiotics until March 6; requests continued prayers for strength and complete recovery.

Hadayat Din, requests continued prayers for recovery from back pain.

Dr. Pepper Totten, attendee of SV, requests prayers for her marriage.

Glenda Sheehy, mother-in-law of Veronica Veltman’s sister, along with Jennifer and Denny Sheehy, Veronica’s sister and brother-in-law, as they transition Glenda from rehab to her home; prayers for a smooth transition, that Glenda will continue to regain strength following her multiple hip surgeries, and for Jennifer and Denny as they provide care and assistance for Denny’s mother.
