HOSPITALS:  

METHODIST NORTH HOSPITAL, MEMPHIS, TN (901-516-5200)
Larry Harris, Room 323 ICU, developed a fever on Monday and went to the ER; diagnosed with a UTI and sepsis; currently dealing with high blood pressure; requests prayers for quick and complete recovery. (Requests No Visitors at this time.)

ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL - PARK, MEMPHIS, TN (901-765-1000)
Terry Jones, Room 661, back surgery on Tuesday, March 17th, went well but experiencing some pain and nausea; has currently discontinued pain meds as they seem to be causing confusion; continues to wait on a place to do rehab; requests prayers for complete recovery and minimal pain.

BAPTIST EAST HOSPITAL, MEMPHIS, TN (901-226-5000)
Sam Sarno, Room 5226, husband of Katie Sarno, diagnosed with AML leukemia; entered hospital on Tuesday, March 11th, has finished his last bag of chemo; receiving blood transfusions and platelets as his blood counts and platelets are extremely low from the chemo; requests prayers that the bone marrow biopsy scheduled for Friday, March 28th, will indicate that he is in remission; requests continued prayers for strength, peace, minimal pain, and complete healing. (Requests No Visitors at this time.)

Kandace, Sophia, and Samuel Ferguson, in the death of their husband and father, Dave Ferguson, on Wednesday, March 5th. Funeral services were Friday, March 14th, at Sycamore View Church of Christ. Donations may be made to the Seena Magowitz Foundation which is a nonprofit committed to the awareness, prevention, and cure of pancreatic cancer.

Veronica Veltman and Family in the death of her sister’s mother-in-law, Glenda Sheehy, on Tuesday, March 11th. The family had a small private funeral for Glenda on Tuesday, March 18th; burial was at Forrest Hill Funeral Home on Whitten Road, Memphis, TN.

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Gab, online guest, requests prayers for strength, peace, and healing for her Aunt Mar who has severe swelling in her feet and legs to the point she is unable to walk, her skin is tearing, and the doctors have been unable to reduce the swelling.

Allen Black, former Professor and Dean of HST, now at home as he continues to recover from surgery on Tuesday, March 18th, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on his carotid artery; surgery went well; requests continued prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Leslie Whiteside, requests prayers that God will show her and a friend evidence that prayers are being heard regarding their sons as frustration is beginning to reduce her joy because of her son’s refusal to listen to everyone praying for him; also expresses love and thankfulness that God is always available to listen and answer prayers and for the best gift ever of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice that affords each of us salvation from our many sins.

Molly Reaves, 3-month-old great niece of Dan and Pam Butler, prayers of thanksgiving as she is now at home from LeBonheur Hospital after receiving good test results and no brain issues were detected.

Donna Couch, cousin of Wayne Ray, has been diagnosed with cancer and will go this week for a scan to see if it has spread; lives in Alabama with her husband; requests prayers for peace, strength, and favorable results.

Christie Myers, has been released from hospital following hospital stay due to a broken vertebrae in her neck and broken ribs that she suffered in a car wreck on Sunday, March 16th; requests prayers for strength and complete recovery.

Bramlett Tubbs, son of a friend of Randy Fowler, battling Stage 4 carcinoma; currently in and out of hospital; lives in DeSoto County; requests prayers for strength, patience, and complete healing.

Jamie Sowell, requests continued prayers for strength, peace, complete healing, and recovery as she had her fifth chemo treatment last Thursday; currently trying to get a PET scan scheduled before next chemo treatment to see if she will need to have a sixth chemo in two weeks; surgery will be scheduled after completion of chemo treatments.

Sherry Efird, friend of Paula Spears, is now at home and continuing to recover from pneumonia; lives in Little Rock, AR; requests continued prayers for strength, patience, and complete healing.
