METHODIST GERMANTOWN HOSPITAL, 7691 Poplar , Germantown, TN 38138 (901-516-6418)
Kay Phillips, Room MedICU 312, mother of Saylor McCoy’s boyfriend, Ethan, was admitted to the hospital about 2 weeks ago with cat scratch fever; has gone into liver failure and is currently on a ventilator and has not regained consciousness; is also having difficulty maintaining her blood pressure; the prognosis is very serious and the family requests prayers that her health situation might improve and also prayers for the family as they prepare to make some difficult decisions over the next couple of days.

Rachel Galbreath in the death of her mother, Helen Austin, on Friday, July 3rd. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12th, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 W. Main Street, Lebanon, TN 37087, and the Funeral Service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 pm at the same location.
Howard and Levernese Mell in the death of Howard’s father, Howard Honorable, on Tuesday, June 30th. The Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday, July 10th, at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 South Parkway West, Memphis, TN 38109, and the Homegoing Service will immediately follow beginning at 12:00 pm at the same location.
MiAngel, Brandon, Elijah, and Heaven Temple in the death of their mother, Shauna Temple, on Friday, June 19th. Funeral services were Saturday, June 27th, at Sycamore View Church, 1910 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, TN 38134.

Ed Smith, son-in-law of Carolyne Bobo, scheduled for knee replacement surgery tomorrow, July 10th, at a hospital in Seattle, Washington; requests prayers for a successful surgery, minimal pain, and complete healing.
Jim Wingett, back fusion surgery at Semmes Murphey Clinic yesterday, July 8th, went well; thankful for successful surgery and requests continued prayers for complete and quick healing.
Jeff Cozzens, scheduled for back surgery on Thursday, July 16th, at Methodist Germantown; requests prayers for minimal pain and a quick recovery.
Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, scheduled for an appointment next Thursday, July 16th, at West Clinic where she will start her Jak 2 cell treatments every two weeks to lower her red and white blood cells and platelets with a new Jak 2 inhibitor that will hopefully not make her so fatigued; also planning an appointment with her eye doctor and working on getting hearing aids; thankful that she now lives with Veronica so she can be helped with her daily care; requests prayers for her quality of life to improve.
Ben McCormick, is scheduled to begin his third round of chemo next week regarding the tumor in his liver and also continues to experience fatigue; Ben’s elderly cousin that he and Gena were caring for in their home is now in a nursing home in Kentucky; requests continued prayers for Ben’s health and the health of his cousin.
Carolee Hamilton, mother of Donna Davenport, recovering from injuries suffered from a fall including a fractured neck bone; has been transferred to Baptist Hospital in Conway, AR, to begin rehab; requests prayers for minimal pain and quick and complete healing.
Raymond Pulliam, son of Carol Jones, requests prayers as he lost everything except what he had with him in a fire on June 30th at the place where he lives in Woodbridge, VA; he was not home at the time, but his neighbor upstairs where the fire started was hospitalized, but should be okay; Carol is not able to be with him right now and would appreciate prayers for her son and his neighbor while also trusting and knowing that God has the situation under control.
Tim Phillips, is scheduled for a liver biopsy on Monday, July 13th, due to possible cirrhosis and may also soon undergo a dry eye treatment on his left eye; recently had a second cataract surgery on his right eye and an upper GI (EUS) procedure; requests prayers for good outcomes in all his procedures.
Bobby Nations, the corrective procedure to replace the stent for his brain aneurysm is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14th, at Methodist University; prayers are requested that the upcoming procedure will be successful with no additional loss of function along with continued healing.
Sherry Kendall, neighbor of Doug and Donna Davenport, surgery for removal of thyroid nodules has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 16th, at Baptist Hospital in Collierville; prayers requested for a successful medical procedure.
Caylin Crawford, online guest, requests prayers that she and her husband will soon be able to find a place to live as they are currently homeless and struggling to find a place to live on a day-to-day basis.
Lane Benafield, grandson of Veronica Veltman’s aunt, prayers of thanksgiving as Lane’s latest labs are much improved and his body seems to finally be starting to get better; his esophagus is also improving; requests continued prayers that Lane’s white blood cell counts continue to rise, that his esophagus continues to heal, and that he continues to regain strength.
Leslie Whiteside, prayers of thanksgiving for the blessings all her life; requests prayers for her son and two friends’ sons who need to repent and begin living for the Lord; for herself that soon she will have met her goals about her ability to walk inside without assistance and to walk outside with her cane or a lighter rollater; for forgiveness for herself and for others in her heart for sins; and for our country and out city to return to worshipping God.
Santos and Ronda Villatoro, friends of Chris Galbreath and friends in our Latino community, prayers are requested for strength, peace, and God’s divine comfort for them and their family in the recent and unexpected passing of their son, Noah Secondino Villatoro.
Makenna, on-line guest, is struggling and feels she is being attacked by demons; requests prayers that all of the demons from her body be cast out in the name of Christ and that she be completely set free; also asks our Lord to keep them out of her body and her parents’ house, to break any strongholds that are keeping them here, and for God’s will to be done in her life.
