Bobby Nations, now at home recovering from a small stroke Thursday night, July 16th, after his Tuesday aneurysm repair procedure that gave him double vision which has already significantly diminished; vision is expected to fully recover and he has not had double vision yesterday or today; had another incident on Saturday morning, July 18th, where he had to return to hospital as he had trouble with coordination, moving, and speech, but the clot that gave him these symptoms did not cause an actual stroke; he was discharged yesterday and so far everything is good for now; requests continued prayers that the stent stays in place and there are no additional complications.

Jeff Cozzens, is now at home as of Saturday, July 18th, as he continues to recover from back surgery on Thursday, July 16th; doctors were encouraged with the procedure, however Jeff is still experiencing quite a bit of pain and has requested no visitors at this time; requests prayers that pain will subside and for a quick recovery.

Sherry Kendall, neighbor of Doug and Donna Davenport, now at home following surgery on Thursday, July 16th, for removal of thyroid nodules which went well; prayers requested for a quick and complete recovery.

Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, had an appointment on Thursday, July 16th, at West Clinic to begin her Jak 2 cell treatments every two weeks to lower her red and white blood cells and platelets with a new Jak 2 inhibitor that will hopefully not make her so fatigued; also planning an appointment with her eye doctor and working on getting hearing aids; thankful that she now lives with Veronica so she can be helped with her daily care; requests prayers for her quality of life to improve.

Mallory Gatlin, is scheduled for a double mastectomy with reconstruction on August 3rd on an outpatient basis at Baptist Women’s Hospital; at this time, no chemo or radiation is expected as the breast cancer is noninvasive; requests prayers for a smooth surgery and a quick recovery.
