Kathy Kisner, Neuro ICU, mother of Jennifer Nations, had a major stroke Saturday night, May 23rd, and is currently dealing with lack of mobility on her left side although she seems to have regained some movement with her left leg and hopefully will soon be moved to a regular room; requests prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Francis Hines, Room 6044, mother of Dell Washington, diagnosed with pneumonia and cervical myelopathy, which is the compression of the spinal cord in her neck, and is now doing better than the last two weeks; when released she will be going home and not to the care facility as originally planned; requests prayers for a complete and quick recovery.

Linda Myers, Room 6021, former member, diagnosed with a concussion and a brain bleed following a bad fall on Monday, May 18th; requests prayers for quiet, peaceful rest, and quick healing.

Ashley Forrest was baptized into Christ on Sunday, May 17th, at Sycamore View Church. Ashley is one of our neighbors on Sycamore View. She also requests prayers as she heads on the road to a better life and to her recovery from drug abuse.
Wren Layne was baptized into Christ on Sunday, May 17th, at Sycamore View Church. Wren is the daughter of Todd and Krista Layne and the sister of Avery, Owen, and Scout.

Howard and Martha Jackson and Family in the death of Howard’s brother, Raymond Jackson, on Friday, May 15th, at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were Thursday, May 21st, at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery and Funeral Home in Millington, TN.
Martha Benafield and Family, aunt of Veronica Veltman, as Martha’s 40-year-old grandson, John Holloway, who had been living with her, was found in his bedroom unresponsive and after attempts of CPR, passed away from unknown causes; funeral arrangements are unavailable at this time.
Denita Deaton and Family in the death of Denita's uncle, Troy Trice, on Saturday, May 9th, in Akron, OH. Funeral services were Saturday, May 16th, at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Road, Akron, OH 44320. Denita and her family are now back in Memphis and appreciated the prayers for safe travels as they traveled to and from Akron, OH.
Chris and Lenora Meyer and Family in the death of Chris’ mother, Patricia Mack Meyer, on Saturday, May 9th, in Atoka, TN. Funeral services were Thursday, May 14th, at Northridge Woodhaven Memorial Funeral Home, 6755 Hwy. 51 North, Millington, TN 38053.

Carol Weiner, her doctor has cut her pain dosage so that she is now dealing with constant pain even though she has had two nerve blocks in her shoulders; this is also causing her to be more depressed; requests prayers for relief from her pain and ease from her depression.
KellyAnn Sutton, daughter of Pat Sutton, is scheduled for a heart procedure in Dallas, TX, on Monday, June 1st; Pat is traveling to Dallas on Saturday to be with her; requests prayers for a successful procedure and for safe travels for Pat.
Miyah Clark, daughter of Denita Deaton, at her court appearance yesterday, May 26th, Miyah took a “best interest” plea of 30 years; once she is processed in Nashville and then transferred, Denita will be able to visit with her in person; with good behavior and taking classes, Miyah could possibly get out on an earlier parole; requests continued prayers of guidance, strength, and peace for Miyah and Denita.
Efrain Marrero, had a procedure on Friday, May 22nd, on his hand to address an infection; has a follow-up appointment scheduled for today, May 27th; requests prayers for minimal pain and a quick and complete recovery.
Leslie Whiteside, requests prayers for her son and two other young men to return to worship for their sake and their family’s salvation; prayers for our country to return to the country it was when she was much younger of law-abiding citizens and neighbors helping each other; also prayers that she will soon be able to walk unassisted and for traveling mercies for her and her daughter in their upcoming trip next week.
Glenn Hailey, received a good report from his cardiologist and a good lab report following previous diagnosis of fluid around heart; his doctor is pleased with his improvements, but recommends no strenuous activities or traveling at this time; next appointment is scheduled for Thursday, May 28; requests prayers for continued improvement in health and for complete healing.
Ann Smith, now at home from the hospital and continuing to recover from back surgery on Tuesday, May 12th; still sore and moving around slowly, but thankful that surgery went well and requests continued prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
Julie Sanon, now at home continuing to recover from back surgery performed Monday, May 11th; requests continued prayers for minimal pain and a quick and complete recovery.
Isaac Kavalakuntla, online guest and an evangelist in the Church of Christ in Bestavaripeta Andhra Pradesh, India; has been involved with a small congregation of about 53 members for about 7 years; they are located in a small village of very poor and mostly uneducated people and request fellowship and prayers of encouragement for their congregation and for the Lord’s work to grow in their area in India especially as they often times face financial problems while doing gospel work.
Rick and Sherry Kendall, neighbors of Doug and Donna Davenport, both are dealing with various health issues involving multiple biopsies and various treatments; Rick has learned that his MDS has turned into leukemia and will be going through the same treatment again that he had last year except for a different donor; requests prayers for successful procedures with good results and complete recoveries.
Nixon Family, Russ and Liana continue to be in Colorado with Russ’ mother, Elaine Nixon, as she experiences declining health; she came home from the nursing/rehab facility on May 7th, and her family has been caring for her; she is currently dealing with recurring C-diff infection, memory problems, congestive heart failure, and pain from a fracture in her back; requests prayers for guidance from God and for peace of mind for all of them, also prayers for relief for their Mom and for her to pass gently when the time comes.
Bobby Nations, the corrective procedure to replace the stent for his brain aneurysm that was scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th, has again been delayed for about a month as the catheter the medical team wants to use is not yet available; prayers are requested that the needed catheter will become available soon and that the procedure will be successful with no additional loss of function along with continued healing so that he can be a father and hold his baby daughter, Claire Bonnie, which is due in June.
Lane Benafield, grandson of Veronica Veltman’s aunt, received his last chemo treatment on Tuesday, May 12th; scans are next, and then maintenance begins in June; prayers of thanksgiving as this marks the end of the chemo that tried so hard to break him; prayers for the beginning of hope, healing, and rebuilding strength; and continued prayers for clear scans and complete remission.
Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, is doing better, but is tired a lot more and may have to revisit going back to West Clinic to treat the cells in her blood because her levels are elevated again which means the treatment will cause her to have more fatigue; requests prayers for improved health and better quality of life.
Phil Galbreath, brother of Chris Galbreath and nephew of Virginia Simmons, now at home (lives in New York City) and in rehab as he continues to recover from multiple surgeries and treatments regarding his pancreatic cancer diagnosis; will receive additional chemo following rehab; requests prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
Michelle Unruh, sister of Heather Unruh, an online guest, has been diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer; requests prayers to God for a complete healing.
