SHOWER SCHEDULED FOR:  

A Wedding Shower is scheduled for Olivia Parkhurst and Luke Miller on Sunday, April 19th, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm at Sycamore View Church, 1910 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, TN 38134. They are registered at Target, Amazon, and Anthropologie.

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Paul Butler, former SV member and brother of Dan Butler, currently in hospice care in Indiana; requests prayers of peace for his wife, Paula, and for Dan and all family members during these last days of Paul’s life.

Bobby Nations, had a follow up appointment several weeks ago that revealed the stent he received last September for his brain aneurysm was not as perfect as it appeared to be after placement; a procedure to do the process again but ‘thread’ a second longer stent through the first is scheduled for 6:30 am on Wednesday, April 15th; prayers are requested for a successful procedure with no additional loss of function and continued healing so that he can be a father and hold his baby daughter, Claire Bonnie, which is due in June. 

Teresa Morris, continues to deal with heart issues; had an appointment with doctors on Monday, April 6th, to discuss further medical procedures; requests prayers for complete healing and improved health.

Marilyn Leath, had an appointment last Thursday, April 2nd, at Gastro One in Germantown, TN, for possible hernia surgery, however, doctors elected to do a scope procedure; currently at home and waiting for results; requests prayers for relief of pain and good results.

Leslie Whiteside, requests prayers for her son and two friends’ sons who have strayed and need to return to worshipping and serving God; prayers for direction for our country in the future so it can return to being a Christian nation; and prayers for herself for continued healing so she will soon be able to return and worship with her church family.

Miyah Clark, daughter of Denita Deaton, court date is scheduled for Monday, April 27th, for her to enter a plea resolution; requests prayers for guidance, patience, and peace for both Miyah and Denita.

Jake Dixon, boyfriend of Rose Knight, requests prayers for safety and success as he just began Air Force Basic Training last Wednesday, April 1st, in San Antonio, Texas.

Daniel Jamerson, as he was released from the hospital on Monday, March 30th, after a brief stay for an infection; requests prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Jeff Wilson, one of our homeless community friends, has been released from the Baptist Hospital where he was taken to the ER on Wednesday, March 25th, with coughing and breathing issues; requests prayers for better health and complete healing.

Veronica Veltman, continues with very light physical therapy for her lower back and neck which is helping; doctors determined that there was no fracture in her left wrist, but a ligament cyst on her tendon sheath in the wrist causing the pain; received shots deep on the top and lower part of wrist and was told to return in 6 weeks if not better; requests continued prayers for complete healing.

Roya Shahpouri, friend of Leah Burns, as Roya’s mother, Soheila Shahpouri, who cares for her elderly grandparents that live in Iran, is now in the states and unable to get back to Iran to care for them; they are currently living in the countryside where the grandchildren are caring for them, however, one of their uncles did pass away; prayers requested for this family as they endure hardships due to the war conditions.   

Martha Benafield, aunt of Veronica Veltman, scheduled for a stress test, heart ultrasound, and a CT of her heart this month; is slowly gaining weight which is good; requests continued prayers for good health.
