Josh Ross
Lead Minister
Josh is the lead minister at Sycamore View. He is married to his best friend, Kayci, and has two boys, Truitt and Noah. Josh loves playing and watching sports, vacationing with his wife, and eating authentic Mexican food. He is a recovering Texan and his passions include preaching, discipleship, and involvement in ministries of reconciliation.
Kathy Mccoy
Ministry Assistant: Finance
Kathy is our longest serving staff member. Don’t let her young looks fool you. She has been at Sycamore View for 35 years. Her main responsibilities are keeping things in check...writing checks, depositing checks, and checking to make sure the rest of the staff are doing ok. She has two beautiful daughters, one in Texas that is raising her two grandsons and one that attends here at Sycamore View. Kathy loves to cook, travel, and picking out woodworking projects for her husband, Dewey, of 46 years.
Jim Hinkle
Executive Minister
Jim serves as Executive Minister. He gets excited seeing people get out of their comfort zones and watching God connect the needs of the world with the gifts He’s showered on people. As the Executive Minister, he’s tasked with equipping our leaders, providing intentional structure for discipleship, and making sure our church is a healthier place for spiritual growth. He, Stacy and their hard-to-count-accurately number of kids live in Binghampton (the heart of Memphis!) and have called the 901 home since 2005.
KIM CHAPMAN
Ministry Assistant: Campus Coordinator
Kim serves as our Campus Coordinator & Ministry Assistant. She also co-leads our Compassion Ministry here at Sycamore View. Her full time job is being “Minnie” to her three grandsons! Kim is married to Chad, her sweetheart of 30 years! They have 3 grown children and enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.

Worship Minister
Kip is the worship minister for Sycamore View. He and his wife Allison find great joy in their two daughters, Kaycee and Piper. They love good fellowship, music, laughter and food. Kip enjoys all kinds of music, way too much coffee, home renovation projects and an occasional round of golf.
Anna Moser
Children’s Minister
Anna is the Children’s Minister at Sycamore View. She moved to Memphis in 2016 and has loved exploring all the things the city has to offer, from restaurants to concerts, museums and parks. Anna is passionate about the spiritual formation of children and enjoys using her creativity in planning events and decorating spaces around our building.
Tyler irvin
Youth Minister
Tyler serves as one of the youth ministers with his wife Anica. He is passionate about sharing his love for Jesus and creation with students. He is excited to join in the Kingdom work Sycamore View has been doing and will continue to do in Memphis. Tyler loves hiking, going to the movies, eating at Zaxbys and playing guitar.

Youth Minister
Anica serves as one of the youth ministers at Sycamore View with her husband Tyler. She loves learning about the joy of the Lord alongside students and is excited to partner in the work that God is doing in Memphis. Anica is passionate about playing outside in any form, reading, going to the movie theater, and traveling.
Caroline chester
Communication Director
Caroline is our communication and creative director. She manages design, branding, digital media, printed materials, signage, social, and video production for Sycamore View. Caroline is married to Sam, both who are born and raised Memphians. Caroline loves crocheting, riding her spin bike, watching movies, and hanging out with her two cats Muffin and Biscuit.
Donna Davenport
Ministry Assistant: Membership
Donna works in the front office and is responsible for our church database. Donna is married to Doug and they have attended Sycamore View since 1984. They have two boys, Derek and Davis, who are now married and continue to attend Sycamore View along with their children. Donna loves yard work, antiques, cats, and sports. Her love for baseball and basketball has continued long after the “Team Mom” years with her boys…and she is an avid Arkansas Razorback fan (GO HOGS!) and supporter of all the Memphis teams.
BRIAN BIRDWELL
Maintenance Coordinator
Brian oversees and participates in the maintenance of our facilities and campus. He loves ensuring everything is ready on our campus for God’s work to happen at 1910 Sycamore View. Serving alongside Lawryn, his 4 daughters and friends at Sycamore View has and continues to be a favorite part of his life. Brian loves spending time with his family and dogs, listening to podcasts and music, and taking a nap whenever he gets a chance.
DAVID PICKETT
Tech Team Coordinator
David manages the crow's nest (sound, slides and livestream) for Sycamore View. He's proud to have called Memphis his home for the past 30 years. His wife Laura and two girls are active members as well. David has lived through both the Carter and Reagan administrations and still has most of his hair. He likes old comedies, musicals, pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
JILLIAN DAVENPORT
PDO / Preschool Director
Jillian is the new Director of our PDO / Preschool program! She enjoys working with kids and is passionate about early childhood education. She is married to Davis and has three boys, Maddox, Miller, and Maverick.

Ministry Apprentice
Josh is the current Ministry Apprentice here at Sycamore View. He has been blessed with the most amazing (and gorgeous) wife in the world, Jordan, and two rambunctious boys, Cason and Canaan. Josh enjoys quality time with his family and deep conversations with anyone who wants to have them.
MANDY GOODHART
Nursery Coordinator
Mandy is our Nursery Coordinator. She schedules volunteers and makes sure children 0-2 years old are in a safe, loving, and caring environment. Mandy is married to Matt and has two girls, Ada and Ellia. Mandy is a teacher in our preschool program, and she enjoys traveling, hand lettering, and Latin American missions.
MIKE BISHOP
The Awakening - Worship Leader
Mike serves with our music ministry team. He played guitar for the United States Navy bands before retiring from that role in 2013. He and his family have attended Sycamore View since 2009. His wife Andrea works for Harding University where their oldest son Zach attends. His youngest son Alec is at Bartlett High School. When you ask Mike about his favorite music, he replies, “Anything that has soul!” He loves the mountains of New Mexico and finds himself most at peace on a mountain trail.

The Awakening - Worship Leader
Laura is a dedicated mother to her three boys. She and her husband, Grant, have been an integral part of our church family for several years. Laura is an extremely talented worship leader with a powerful voice. We are incredibly blessed to have her using one of her many talents at Sycamore View Church.
